REFLECTION by Christel Casse: It is easy to become comfortable in our routines, surrounded by familiar comforts, and to overlook those who quietly suffer at the edges of our lives. Yet God places them at our very doorstep as a gentle invitation to open our eyes and our hearts. The measure of our love is not found in how well we care for those who can repay us, but in how we respond to those who cannot. Helping those in need reveals God’s mercy within us. We are reminded that there is no time to delay, for love must be lived today. By living generously and attentively, we already share in the joy of God’s kingdom breaking into our midst.
