PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO ROME AND ASSISI: from 27 April-4 May next year. The cost will be in the region of £1350 which includes flights from Manchester, Accommodation with meals, coach transportation in Rome and Assisi and entrance fees. Full itineraries and booking forms available shortly.

THE SVP would like to thank you for the generous donation of £123 at our recent Coffee Morning. Also, thanks for all the donations of warm jackets and coats for the refugees housed at Casa Mere Hotel. These were gratefully received but there is still a need for more, especially small adult sizes. Please leave the hall after weekend Masses.

LADIES COFFEE MORNING This Friday, 4 November after Mass until Noon. All are welcome. All proceeds support CAFOD and their work with the poor of the world.

CAN YOU HELP? Our church cleaners are planning a deep clean on 16 December but we will need extra volunteers for this. If you can help, please speak to Fran O’Brien or Moya Higham moyahigham@aol.com, obriens@plumley.org.uk

MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS: November is the month when we specially remember our loved ones who have died. Please let us have any names of family or friends who you would like included on the November List, together with whatever donation you would like to make. They will be remembered at Masses throughout November.

PARISH DINNER at Knutsford Golf Club on Friday, 25 November, 6.30pm for 7pm. This will be a three-course meal of vegetable soup, Beef, chicken or salmon with seasonal veg followed by apple pie and custard. The cost will £22.50 payable on the night by cheque or cash. ENQUIRY GROUP: This group is for anyone who would like to know more about the Catholic Church especially those who would like to become Catholic. Any parishioners are welcome to join to learn more about the faith but also to support those looking to join the Church. We start this Thursday, 3 November at 7pm in the church hall.

THE SVP are making a collection of warm, short, male winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves for Afghan refugees living in Knutsford. Please bring them to the Church Hall after 5.30pm or 11am this weekend.

CARITAS exists in our diocese to support poor, disadvantaged families. It is also doing wonderful work to support refugees. Could those who have Caritas boxes please return them to church with your donations. You can also use a mobile phone and the QR Code on the door in the porch.

LADIES CHRISTMAS LUNCH is to resume on Tuesday, 13 December at 1pm in the Church Hall. Our best option this year will be a buffet lunch costing £16 for the meal, a drink of wine or soft drink and a raffle. We are looking forward to seeing our regulars and some new faces. Booking forms will be available from next week.

THE SVP are holding a Coffee Morning in the hall after the 11am Mass today. Also we are making a collection of warm, short, male winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves for Afghan refugees living in Knutsford. Please bring them to the Church Hall after 5.30pm or 11am Mass next weekend.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY: The total Offertory for September to support our parish was £4976.74.The recent Ladies Coffee Morning raised £132 and last week’s Family Fast Collection raised £531.12 to support CAFOD. Many thanks for your generosity.
