STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Will be celebrated each Friday in Lent; This week at 11.30am after the Coffee Morning and Cake Sale.

LADIES GROUP COFFEE AND CAKE SALE: Friday 1 April in the Church Hall after 9.30am Mass until 11.30am. Proceeds to Cafod. All are welcome. We have just sent £1,000 to Cafod. Thank you for your support!

NEW OFFERTORY ENVELOPE BOXES: For those parishioners who kindly donate using Offertory Envelopes, your new box for use from 10 April is available from the table in the porch in alphabetical order. Please do not worry if your number has changed this is part of a further tidying up of our records. Thank you for your continued support. Graham Alcock, Planned Giving and Gift Aid Organiser.

PRAYER SPONSORS: If you would like to act as a prayer sponsor for one of the children preparing for first Holy Communion please sign up in the porch.

CONFIRMATION PREPARATION: Thank you to those who have registered for Confirmation this year. The first meeting for parents and candidates will be this Thursday, 31 March at 7pm in the Parish Hall.

SERVICE OF PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION: As part of our preparations to celebrate Holy Week and Easter, there will be a service of penance and reconciliation with the opportunity for individual confession on Tuesday, 12 April at 7pm in church.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is offered after Weekday Mass in the sacristy or by appointment at a convenient time.

CAN YOU HELP? I have had a request to ask if anyone could provide accommodation for a Catholic student physiotherapist, aged 20, from Hong Kong who is on a placement at the Community Hospital for a month from 22 March-22 April. If you can help please speak to me as soon as possible.

FAMILY FAST DAY: We will celebrate Family Fast Day this coming Friday. Why not make it a day of Fasting in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Any money that is saved will go to Cafod to support their work. Envelopes are available at the church door and will be collected after Mass next Sunday,

VIGIL FOR PEACE: You are invited to join a Vigil for Peace in Ukraine this Friday, 18 March at 7pm in Church. There will be a Holy Hour with readings and reflections and Rosary.

THE COFFEE MORNING raised £151 for Cafod. Many thanks.

FIRST FORGIVENESS AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION The first meeting for parents will be this Tuesday, 8 March at 7.15pm in the Hall.

SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE: The Welcome on Longridge who deliver food parcels, is making a special collection for Ukraine. They are looking for clean blankets, sleeping bags, toiletries, small toys, sweets for children, energy bars, dried fruit, nuts, metal cutlery, plastic cups and plates, batteries, plasters and bandages. Please leave any donations in the porch by the foodbank box.

ATTENTION ALL GIFT AID DONORS: The tax year 2021/22 will end on 5 April and we will then undertake the process of claiming back Gift Aid refunds on donations made in the tax year. If your circumstances have changed and you no longer pay income tax (or if for any other reason you do not wish to remain part of the Gift Aid scheme) please let me know at planned.giving@stvincentsknutsford.org by 5 April, otherwise it will be presumed you have paid sufficient income tax for the Parish to reclaim Gift Aid on donations made in the last tax year.
