WORLD COMMUNICATIONS Thank you for your generosity at the retiring collection which raised £249.50.

ST VINCENT’S LADIES GROUP The next Coffee and Cake sale will be on Friday 4 July after Mass until 11.30am with all proceeds for CAFOD.

MARCH FOR LIFE UK on the first Saturday of September (6th) in London. The right to life underpins every
other right we have and without it every other right is rendered meaningless. Abortion denies the most
vulnerable in our society of their most basic right which is why this year’s theme is “Human Rights For All Humans.”
Unite with thousands of others at this family friendly event where we recognise the value of life from conception
and stand up for all those who have been impacted by abortion. Find out more at https://www.marchforlife.co.uk/,
email info@marchforlife.co.uk or contact Mary Jones on 07916 578902.

MISSION APPEAL Rev Rob Morland will be making an appeal on behalf of the Society of African Missions next Sunday and there will be a Retiring Collection at both Masses.

PILLARS OF FAITH – A Reflection by Christel Casse, Lay Pastoral Assistant. This week we celebrate Saints Peter and Paul, the great pillars of our Church. Two men who couldn’t have been more different; Peter the impulsive fisherman, Paul the educated scholar who once persecuted Christians. Yet both discovered that God’s grace transforms our weaknesses into strengths. Peter’s rashness became bold leadership when filled with the Holy Spirit. Paul, the persecutor of Christians, later became a passionate evangelist after his encounter with Christ on the Damascus road. Their feast reminds us that discipleship isn’t about perfection but about responding to God’s call wherever we find ourselves. In our own parish community, we see this transformation at work: the shy person finding their voice in ministry and the busy parent discovering joy in service. Just as Christ called Simon “Peter” (the rock) and entrusted him with building the Church, we too are called to be stones of faith, standing firm in our beliefs and supporting one another. Saints Peter and Paul show us that the Church is built not on human strength, but on God’s mercy working through ordinary people willing to say “yes” to extraordinary grace.

FROM TRINITY TO TABLE – A Reflection by Christel Casse, Lay Pastoral Assistant. Last week we celebrated the Holy Trinity – God in perfect communion as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This week brings Corpus Christi, the feast of Christ’s Body and Blood. These aren’t just theological mysteries, but invitations for daily living. The Trinity shows us that relationship is at God’s heart. In our interactions with family, neighbours and colleagues, we’re called to mirror this divine love through deep listening, ready forgiveness, and selfless service. Corpus Christi reminds us that Christ becomes present not only in the Eucharist, but wherever we gather in his name. Every shared meal can become sacred with gratitude. Every act of feeding the hungry reflects Christ’s gift of himself. From the communion of the Trinity to our communion at Mass and around kitchen tables, God invites us to find the sacred (God’s presence and holiness) in ordinary moments.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Saturdays from 11.30am to 12 Noon.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available after weekday Mass and during Adoration on Saturdays.
