THE LADIES GROUP will be holding their Summer Lunch on Tuesday 16th July at 1 pm in the church hall. If you would like to come, please sign on the list on the church notice board in the porch. The cost will be £10 including a glass of wine or soft drink (Cash would be preferred). Payment can be made to Andrea Ross beforehand or on the day.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT ST VINCENT’S PRIMARY SCHOOL: Could you spare 2-3 hours a week? Our primary school is looking for volunteers who could come into school one morning or one afternoon a week on a regular basis to listen to children read on a 1:1 basis. If this is something you would like to do, please email Mrs Davies at gdavies@stvincents.cheshire.sch.uk or call school on 01565 633637.

LADIES COFFEE MORNING AND CAKE SALE this Friday, 5 July after 9.30am Mass. All proceeds go to support CAFOD.

ST VINCENT’S PRE-SCHOOL OPEN AFTERNOON 10 July from 1.30pm-3pm, for all children due to start with us in the Autumn term or for anyone interested in joining our setting. If you would like to come, please call 01565 651948 or email cath@stvincentspreschool.co.uk

CIVIC SERVICE Today at 2.30pm at St Cross Church. This year’s service will be unlike previous Civic Services: we have music from members of Knutsford Academy, an organ student from the London Academy of Music, and the band of the Knutsford RAF Cadets. The service will include a reflection by local people about what in Knutsford creates a strong sense of community. The service will be led by Rev Paul Deakin.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT on Saturday from 11.30am-12 Noon here in Knutsford and at 6.30pm on Tuesdays at Lymm.

THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available after weekday Masses and during Adoration on Saturdays.

MANY THANKS for your weekly offerings which totalled £11.429.94 for May. This included an anonymous donation of £5,000. Thanks too for £155 raised at the recent Ladies Coffee Morning and cake for CAFOD and the donations of £153 raised at the Food Festival to support the church’s work in Cambodia.

WORLD FOOD FESTIVAL: Come and joint us today, 16th June in the Parish Hall for a shared table where everyone can bring along Food or drink from their family tradition or heritage for us all to eat together or just come along to join the fun. This is an event for all ages. This is a great opportunity for us to meet as a parish and to celebrate the diversity in our congregation. We will also have a fun question and answer session with experts from the world of food. If you have any questions, please ask one of the welcomers at mass. Please add your name to the sheet in the porch in church to let us know you are coming.
