SERVICE OF PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION with the opportunity for individual confession in preparation for Christmas this Wednesday 18 December at 7pm in Church.

THE LADIES CHRISTMAS LUNCH was not only a great social success but also raised £510.00 for Cafod after costs. Many thanks to all those who helped with setting up, supplying the food raffle prizes, table decorations and clearing away. The recent coffee morning raised £110.00 plus £470.00 from Clare Gibbons mini-Christmas fair also for Cafod. There will be no Coffee Morning in January.

FIRST SACRAMENTS PARENTS MEETINGS will begin on Thursday, 23 January at 7pm in the hall. Full details of the programme of preparation for first Forgiveness and first Holy Communion will be given then.

THE ENQUIRY GROUP will take a break now until after Christmas. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, 9 January in the hall.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available after weekday Mass and during Adoration on Saturdays.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT on Saturdays from 11.30am-12 Noon.

CHRISTMAS MASSES: Here at St Vincent’s, there will be a Vigil Mass at 5pm and Midnight Mass at 9pm preceded by Carols from 8.30pm on Christmas Eve and Mass on Christmas morning at 11am. There will be a Vigil Mass at 7pm on Christmas Eve and 9am on Christmas morning at Lymm.

ST VINCENT’S PRE-SCHOOL: If any parents have younger children who are due to start Pre-school before September 2025, please ensure that their child’s name is on the waiting list.  
We are starting a Holiday Club from the spring half term in February.  This is for children up to the age of 5 who are attending either St Vincent’s Pre-school or the reception class in St Vincent’s Primary School. The club will run for 47 weeks per year, closing for 2 weeks at Christmas and the last 2 weeks of the summer holidays.

THE SVP would like to collect old used Christmas cards. These can be reused and sold to raise funds for charities. A basket will be provided after Christmas at the Piety Stall.

LADIES GROUP CHRISTMAS LUNCH will be on Tuesday, 10 December. Booking forms and money should be returned to Sheila Flynn or Clare Gibbons at 9am Mass or Andrea Ross at 11am today. The next coffee morning and cake sale will be this Friday, 6 December and will include a mini craft sale; the piety stall will be available, and Sarah and Chris Dawson will entertain with carols.

THE ENQUIRY GROUP will meet this Thursday 5 December at 7pm. We would welcome any parishioners who would like to reflect more on their own faith and support those who are enquiring.

MANY THNKS FROM THE SVP for your generous response to their Cash for Coins Appeal which raised £503.50 to support their Children’s Summer Camps for disadvantaged children.
