BIBLE STUDY AT ST WINEFRIDE’S: Come and join us for a programme of Bibleteaching, reflectionand discussion, as we explore Scripture and deepen our faith together. Starting 28 September at 7pm, St Winefride’s Parish Hall. Please contact Melanie Robson on 0777 387 6079.We hope you can join us!

PARISH CHILDREN’S FAIR SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER Games, crafts, face painting, popcorn, quizzes, refreshments and a grand raffle for the children. We need your help! Volunteers to run a stall, donations of cakes, small toys, prizes or craft materials. Raffle prizes especially welcome. Speak to Christel 07874135843. 

SPONSORED WALK FOR KNUTSFORD FIRST RESPONDERS on Saturday 26th Sep a group of Catenians and parishioners will be doing the Cheshire 3 Peaks walk (24km/15 miles) with about 850m of ascent if you do the full route.  We also have options for doing half the route or a short walk around the Teggs Nose. THE ENQUIRY GROUP will begin again on Thursday, 15 October at 7pm in the hall. We welcome anyone who would like to become a Catholic or learn more about the Faith. Parishioners too are welcome to learn more about our faith and to support those who are enquiring.

NEW HEATING SYSTEM: I am delighted that we have been given permission to have a new heating system installed in church. Hopefully work will commence this month. The system will be thermostatically controlled, and each heater can be adjusted. I am very grateful for a donation of £5000 from one of our parishioners towards the new system. We have also received permission from the Finance Board to decorate the church and have a new carpet fitted.

THE SVP will make a presentation at our Masses today and invite everyone to join them for refreshments in the hall after 11am Mass.

ST NICHOLAS CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL OPEN EVENING: Thursday 24th September 4-6pm. PARISH MEAL: Please hold the date for our annual Parish Dinner on the evening of Friday 13th November at Knutsford Golf Club. This will be a 3-course meal. Further details to follow.

VISITING CHURCH FOR PRIVATE PRAYER: Unfortunately, a few things have been stolen from the Piety Stall/Porch recently. As an interim measure, I will keep the main door locked but will continue to leave the car park door open between 9am & 4pm for those who wish to visit and pray.

THE LADIES COFFEE MORNING last Fridayraised £120 for Cafod. Many thanks to all who made the event possible and those who contributed.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Saturdays from 11:30am to 12 Noon.
