Notices

PLEASE REMEMBER IN YOUR PRAYERS:

All those who are sick,  housebound or isolating at home.

Rosemary Fairs who has died and all those whose anniversaries occur at this time especially Canon Joe Cahill, Alice Mabel Floyd, Agnes Yates, Bob Quin, Bert Harris, Ronald Dowthwaite, May they rest in peace and may the Lord bring comfort to their families and friends.

HOLY WEEK AND EASTER: Bookings are open for our Holy Week and Easter services and Masses. We are increasing the capacity of the church to 30 households for Good Friday and Easter Sunday but for this to happen safely it is vital that everyone sits in the place they are directed to by the stewards.

EXTRA MASSES: Please note that Mass will be celebrated on Monday of Holy Week at 9.30am and will be offered for Canon Cahill on his anniversary and there will be a Mass on Monday of Easter Week.

THE PASSION OF THE LORD AND MUSIC FOR HOLY WEEK: Our choir and musicians have agreed to lead us in a Vigil of readings from the Passion from St Matthew’s Gospel together with favourite music for Holy Week on the livestream on Tuesday at 7pm. I do hope you will be able to join us.

GOOD FRIDAY is a day of fasting and abstinence. The collection will be to support the Christian Community in the Holy Land.

NEW OFFERTORY ENVELOPES: For those parishioners who kindly donate to the Parish using Offertory envelopes, your new box is now available on the table in the porch in alphabetical order. Please do not worry if your number has changed this is part of tidying up our records. Graham Alcock, Planned Giving and Gift Aid Organiser.

EASTER OFFERING: This is the traditional offering to Fr David. If you use Offertory Envelopes you will find one marked Easter Offering. If you wish to make an offering by cheque please make it payable to St Vincent’s Church Knutsford – rest assured it will find its way to Fr David. If you normally make your offering by Standing Order then please note this does not form part of the Easter Offering to Fr David but goes to the parish. As such special Gift Aid Envelopes are available in the church porch. Please complete the front of the envelope so that Gift Aid can be claimed. Thank you for your kindness and support, Graham Alcock, Planned Giving and Gift Aid Organiser.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION  is offered after Weekday Masses (until Wednesday) in the sacristy or by appointment.

THANK YOU For your Offertory gifts Please place any offertory envelopes or offerings in the baskets at the church door or post through the presbytery letterbox;  thank you for your continued support of the parish in such difficult circumstances.
